What is Canyonlands/Tower House?
Canyonlands and Tower House are two sites within the Town’s Accommodations 2 Zone District, meaning they are zoned for higher densities and housing for residents. The Town of Telluride acquired the Tower House site in December 2018 and the Canyonlands parcel in May 2021. Both sites were purchased with affordable housing uses in mind.
What is a Public Private Partnership (P3)?
A P3 is a partnership between a government entity and a private sector entity with the goal of developing a project to benefit the public.
Who is Servitas?
Servitas is a minority and woman-owned Limited Liability Corporation in the state of Texas owned by a family trust. The firm was established in 2001 and is a well-capitalized private company providing a full scope of real estate services.
Servitas specializes in Public Private Partnerships (P3) typically using the Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain (“DBFOM”) model and has been providing these services for over 20 years. Servitas has delivered and is currently developing more than 20,000 beds in a variety of types, from three-story wood-frame walkup buildings to nine-story concrete and steel high-rises.
