Chair 7/Carhenge Neighborhood Planning Meeting 2
The Town of Telluride and Telluride Ski & Golf (TSG) are hosting two meetings to discuss a collaborative initiative between the two organizations. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was recently executed between the Town and TSG to facilitate land planning and community engagement services for the Chair 7 Neighborhood. As part of the planning for this area, the entities have engaged with Design Work Shop and CCY Architects – both of which are nationally renowned planning and design firms that work extensively in Colorado and the Telluride Region.
This strategic project aims to align with the community and housing development goals outlined in the Town of Telluride’s Southwest Area Plan, with a specific focus on the Carhenge site, Tract Y, Shandoka, and Lot L. Building upon the Southwest Area Plan’s recommendations, the Chair 7 Neighborhood plan will adopt an integrated approach to the Carhenge site and the Telluride Ski and Golf land surrounding Chair 7.
The meetings will serve as an opportunity to share the background of the Town and TSG's MOU agreement, review the goals of the Southwest Area Plan, and begin a conversation with the neighborhood.
This hybrid meeting will have a Zoom option as well.
When: Mar 12, 2024, 05:30 PM Mountain Time (US and Canada)
